Here's a photo of 4 pups from past litters - 3 of which (the three on the right) look to be small enough to qualify as "pocket beagles"- THEIR MOM WEIGHS 6 POUNDS! The beagle on the left looks to be a little larger and we expect him to be a smaller or regular sized under 13 inch beagle. The two females are on the right; two males on the left. Personality is excellent on all 4.

We had another that was so tiny she could be a pocket beagle as well - little "Pugsley."Her photo follows below.

We had one older female pup - "Brownie" - excellent for a working person or family with young kids, since she is well over the nipping/biting stage and is old enough to be alone longer hours than a new puppy. Link to her photo below.

All the above 6 pups, being from field champion lines, will be ideal as pets or hunting companions. These pups are well socialized, good with children and were RAISED WITH CHILDREN, and will have 2 -3 sets of shots here -some all of their shots. These pups are from SPO lines - sweet, gentle and playful - and they love kids. The pups will make excellent pets and companions, they are very affectionate and will not be hyperactive or destructive - they will train easily. With lots of work and training, they should hunt as well, and be fast, but clean dogs good for SPO trials and hunting but definitely not brace trial dogs and probably not for large pack trials. Without training they likely will not be interested in chasing bunnies at all. In fact most of our pups go to families for pets because of their excellent dispositions. PUGSLEY - FEMALE POCKET BEAGLE

Pugsley at about 12 weeks old and just teeny tiny. She is an exquisite little standard tri-color w/ excellent markings. She has a cute little muzzle and gorgeous mascara lined eyes, great ears and exellent legs. Body proportions are very good as well. Her conformation to AKC standards is very good. She is one of those really cute beagles that will resemble a pup all her life due to her smaller size picture book features and the way she is put together. Her personality is excellent and she was raised w/ school aged children. She will be an excellent pet. Pugsley wopuld be especially great for a family with very young kids or for busy people who work and can't manage an 8 week old pup. She is so little you are not losing the "puppy days" but she is more mature than a brand new puppy. She could stay in a crate longer than a younger pup and also is over the nipping and biting phase all new pups go through from 8 weeks to about 3 months. Please call if you have questions.


PUGSLEY - ANOTHER SHOT

What a doll! This photo was taken while Pug was out at play w/ the other pups - I just snapped her before she ran off! Pugsley's head and ears will be all brown but all the white markings, including her perfect blaze, will stay. She has the solid black blanket and white legs and belly. Her eyes are beautifully expressive and she is as sweet as she looks.

BROWNIE - FEMALE TRI SMALL UNDER 13 INCH BEAGLE

Brownie - a wonderful pup - She is not only beautiful, but has excellent character. She listens well and comes when called. She is quiet - not a barker - and is extremely affectionate. Brownie has the classic tri-colored beagle markings. She has had 3 sets of shots already and should get a 4th before she leaves -all she will need is a rabies shot for required immuniazations. She will be a smaller under 13 inch beagle but not a pocket beagle. She is excellent w/ kids -was raised w/ them, and she has a calm loving disposition. Her attnetion span is excellent and she learns quickly.She also should hunt if someone had the patience to put in the 100's of hours. Brownie - a wonderful addition to any family and of course she would be excellent for a working person or really busy family where she is a little older. She was highly recommended to any family w/ very young children, as she does not nip or chew fingers and toes- she is over that stage!
