Field beagles have lots of heart - they love their masters & families like no other dogs. Our dogs are all pets AND field dogs. Several live in the house; the rest spend time inside - just not all at once! Our lines include great hounds like SPO AKC FCs Thorn Gap Bad Jack (a Hounds and Hunting Hall of Fame Stud); our own Hockomock Swamp Loco Coco; & Browns LA Dark Black Bob; among others. They are faster medium speed steady hounds who are close on checks and good on rabbit, hare, and other game tracks. They are steady dogs not prone to hyperactivity or attentional disorders. We are members of Tri-County & Baystate Beagle Clubs & NEHBA, and participate in trials throughout the northeast. We LOVE our beagles!!
