We offer AKC registered beagles from SPO field trial champion lines of superior personality, and good to excellent AKC conformation for field dogs, that excel as pets companions, hunters or field trial prospects. We hand raise our pups one litter at a time, giving them every advantage.

We only plan litters to further our line and the beagle breed - with each litter we strive to produce better field trial prospects with closer conformation to AKC standards, using our best dogs. Proper socialization and frequent handling forges a strong bond with our family, so transfer to a permanent home and new family goes smoothly. Our pups are born of parents from generations of tested athletes. Dogs that can compete in gruelling field trial events have to be healthy, so over the years, breeding only successful athletes has helped to eliminate a lot of health problems from the gene pool of these beagles. These dogs have been field tested for personality - going back generations. Dogs that perform in the field must be intelligent, cooperative, persistent, versatile, emotionally stable, tolerant, loyal, obedient, and able to get along well with other dogs and people. These dogs have all the personality traits neccessary to succeed in becoming a beloved family member. Unlike dogs who compete in bench shows, (who are judged ONLY on looks), field dogs prove their personalities -are let loose in a 60-100 acre enclosure - and have to obey commands, perform in front of crowds, organize into a pack, and work with strange dogs to track a rabbit in a efficient, progressive, organized,effective manner.
